I have always wondered why I am not bald yet. It was a normal thing for me to have so much hair on the floor of my bedroom or on the drain filter in the shower. 3 days after cleaning my room and I know I need to just take out lots of hair balls again hahahahaha (the hair ball is an overstatement but you get the point!).
I have lots of hair but they are very fine and they break very easily. I used to have a classmate back in my teens who used here hair strands to floss her teeth. Not only is that yucky, it is also impossible for me to do. My hair strands just don't have the capacity to withstand that much friction or stress. Not that I plan to use it for that purpose.
From time to time, I would try anti-hair fall shampoos but I always end up stopping them because my scalp gets itchy or my hair gets to feel very dry. Usually it's the itchy scalp that ticks me off, making me resort to keeping another bottle of shampoo, the anti-dandruff variant, to take all that itchiness away. I actually don't know if anti-hair fall shampoos that make me itch are giving me dandruff, or if they are just making my scalp itch. Nevertheless, I usually go back to anti-dandruff products even if I don't have dandruff. So there, I have never really believed in all these promises about hair fall control shampoos. I thought they were just trying to be something but they turn out to be annoying. Maybe they do work but I can never use it long enough to ever find out.
I don't remember how I started using the L'oreal brand, but I suspect that I got attracted to the bottle color and overall design (yeah, I get fooled by those things! Hahahah!). So when I started using it, I noticed that I have been using it for a full 5 days and I still haven't itched a bit, not one bit! So I continued using it, and also noticed I ran out of anti-dandruff shampoo but not a problem because I'm not getting annoyed so far. And then after 3 weeks of using it, I ran out of conditioner (I use conditioner once or twice a week), so I decided to purchase the partner of the L'oreal hairfall shampoo.
A full month of using the shampoo and I noticed that I have less hair to pick up from my room and the shower drain. I use the conditioner only at night after coming from work. And because my hair is usually wet from sweating at the gym, I would assume it attracted so much dirt on my way home. So I still need to clean my hair, but so as not to dry it out, I just use a conditioner, just a small amount.
The shampoo is only PhP129 per 180mL bottle. I bought it from the Landmark supermarket. I can't remember the price of the conditioner but it should also be within that range for the same size. I love it so much, I am already on my second bottle for both the shampoo and conditioner and I even bought a bottle for my mom. I also recommend it to people who have problems with hair fall.
Finally, a hairfall shampoo that actually works and doesn't annoy! After 2 months of continued use, I feel like I have a head full of hair and that kind of stuff is unheard of in my life. All my life I always needed volumizers that end up drying my hair. But now, no need! The strands are clinging onto my scalp and when I comb my hair with my fingers, I feel like it has thickened. I now have the hair that I am truly born with! I luhveht!!! Thanks L'oreal!!!
